The Mind Behind the Magic

Hi, I’m Nick, a Chattanooga-based artist and the creator of Softpop Studio! I’ve been drawing since I was nine years old, filling sketchbooks with video game characters, cartoons, and anything from pop culture that captured my imagination.

Today, that same inspiration fuels my art! My style blends cartoons, anime, and pop culture media into soft, colorful illustrations that feel playful, nostalgic, and a little dreamy. I love taking familiar characters and moments from the media we all love and reimagining them through a softer, more whimsical lens.

With a degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies, I combine my background in media with my lifelong passion for art—using Softpop Studio as a space to share my work, tell stories through my art, and give a behind-the-scenes look at my creative process! It’s a place where I can explore creativity and connect with others who love pop culture as much as I do.
